Cynthia Yered is an Associate Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Yered is director of Tufts Dental School's Community Service Learning Externship program, which provides students opportunities to practice in underserved urban and rural areas. An advocate for public health issues, Dr. Yered served on the board of the New England Rural Health Association and is a member of Massachusetts Rural Council on Health. Dr. Yered was Chief Dentist for the Tufts Dental Outreach to Survivors (DOTS) program, which provides free and confidential dental care for survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence. Dr. Yered is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association. In her free time, Cynthia enjoys travel, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
